Ruperra Castle Open Day - 3rd September 2016

The Ruperra Castle Preservation Trust are once again holding what promises to be an excellent open day, which will feature a guided walk around the site. Details below.

Open Doors - Wednesday 7 September and Thursday 29 September

Part of the Amgueddfa Cymru National Museum Wales, the National Collections Centre stores thousands of fascinating objects in the national collections that are not on display. Guided tours will provide an opportunity to take a closer look at the national collections and to find out more about the work that is involved in looking after them.

CAER Heritage Project at St Fagans: 8-19 August 

Sieving Caerau's Samples

Your help is needed! Fancy getting out and about this summer and hands on with the finds from the Caerau excavations? The CAER team will be up at the newly-built Iron Age village of Bryn Eryr at St Fagans National History Museum from 8th to 19th August (10am-5pm) wet sieving the soil samples we took from the hillfort. Please come and join us, get involved, or simply have a look at the amazing new roundhouses.
