Ruperra Castle Open Doors Day - 15th September 2019
On Saturday 15th September, the Ruperra Castle Preservation Trust are holding an open doors day at the Ruperra Home Farm. This will include displays by re-enactors and a guided walk of the castle site. Booking is essential and includes refreshments. For details, view the attached poster:




Prof. Alice Roberts at Taliesin Live, Swansea - 16th October 2019
Anthropologist, broadcaster and author Professor Alice Roberts will be speaking at Taliesin Arts Centre in Swansea on Wednesday 16th October. She will discuss her work and experiences on programmes such as Time Team and the event will also include a Q&A session. Raglan Castle Symposium - Saturday 23rd November 2019
The Welsh Regional Fellows Group of the Society of Antiquaries are hosting a one-day symposium on the history of Raglan Castle, which has been organised in honour of the late Rick Turner OBE, formerly of CADW, who passed away in June 2018. The symposium will be held on Saturday 23rd November 2019 at the Beaufort Arms in Raglan, and includes a full day of lectures from 9am-5pm and a buffet lunch.
